VCDS® is a Windows-based diagnostic software. In connection with the Ross-Tech® HEX-NET® the way to the workshop 4.0 is paved. This latest generation wireless diagnostic adapter (WiFi) can be easily integrated into the existing workshop WiFi network, which means that the vehicle can be accessed from any computer in the network. If there is no WiFi network, the HEX-NET® can be configured as a router at the push of a button, to which any WiFi-enabled device can log in (even when on the move). All vehicles of the Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda etc.), from 1992 up to the current model series, with K-line, double K-line and CAN diagnosis lines can be diagnosed.
Thanks to the VCDS-Mobile® app (only in English, limited functionality, the operating system does not matter), it is also possible to record measured values during test drives, compatible with mobile, WLAN-enabled end devices that have an Internet browser such as iPad, iPhone, Windows -Phone, Blackberry, Android smartphones and much more
